Our tools
Our tools serving our three areas of work
To support our training courses and assignments, we use specific, immersive tools drawn from our years of expertise.
Crisis management
Structuring command in urgent and complex situations
Our crisis simulations are based on the following method : SIPAAC©.
It enables teams to :
- understand a complex situation
- identify the impacts
- pinpoint the stakeholders
- anticipate and clarify priorities
- coordinate actions
- make collective decisions under pressure
- structure crisis communications
The SIPAAC© boards act as a decision-making aid and make it easier to steer through a crisis.

Risk management

Training in near-real conditions
During our emergency exercises, and fire safety exercises in particular, we use immersive equipment such as smoke generators.
This type of equipment makes it possible to :
- recreate realistic conditions
- work on managing stress
- test reflexes and procedures
- strengthen operational preparedness
The aim is to confront teams with a realistic situation while maintaining a safe learning environment.
Making organisations more reliable
Understanding human mechanisms
In our training courses on cognitive bias and decision-making, we use virtual reality headsets.
Immersion makes it possible to :
- experience the mechanisms of perception first-hand
- become aware of errors of judgement
- analyse individual and collective dynamics
- improve the reliability of decisions
These tools strengthen the learning impact by making visible phenomena that are often abstract.

What is SIPAAC ?
SIPAAC© is a method developed by ATRISC for steering through any kind of crisis.
Its advantage is that it is self-supporting (intuitive to use) and does not require lengthy, tedious training to master.
It is the ideal tool for operational crisis management: it makes it possible to understand a complex situation, to anticipate the possible consequences of the disruption and to propose appropriate responses through collective intelligence.
SIPAAC© structures thinking, makes coordination between those involved easier and turns analysis into concrete decisions.
The decision-making process : SIPAAC©

The method is based on an iterative approach organised around successive situation reviews.
At each situation review, the SIPAAC© charts are completed or updated, actions under way are monitored, objectives are confirmed and new decisions are taken.
Alternating between consultation (collective intelligence) and decision-making allows the response to be continuously adapted as the situation evolves.
Operational materials available
To make it easier to put the method into practice (SIPAAC© ), ATRISC offers :
Sets of 6 boards SIPAAC©
Two versions available :
- Standard version (fixed with painter's tape) : €1,150 excl. VAT
- Magnetic version (for metal surfaces) : €1,650 excl. VAT
Our SIPAAC© sets and kits of crisis management boards are sold packed in bags handmade in Alsace from fabric sourced at reuse centres.
Sets of 6 tabards – Crisis team
Complete set for identifying roles : 300 €
Roles :
- DECISION-MAKER
- COORDINATOR
- ACTION
- COMMUNICATIONS
- ANTICIPATION / INTELLIGENCE

Tools 100% tailored to your organisation
Every organisation has its own challenges, its own culture and its own operational constraints.
Our experts work together to design teaching and operational tools entirely suited to your structure.
In particular, we have developed an educational game to raise awareness of the risks specific to a given field of work.
These tools can be used as part of our training courses or deployed on a lasting basis within your organisation.
